Yes, she most definitely is a keeper. She just wants to please & be loved. She gets along just fine with with everyone else & is learning her manners as far as jumping, learning to stay & heel. She's a smart girl. Considering she's had to learn a new name, new people, & new places. She doesn't hold it against anyone, like you said, that she's been a few places lately. We went to the vet on Saturday & I kept thinking she must be wondering where's she's going now so I just kept reassuring her that she's home now & that's where she was going back to...her house. Doc called her "a winner". We had a dusting of snow a few days ago & she played in the snow. The snow pictures attached are from our first hour home after the big snow. She's a good girl. I'll keep you both updated.

Hope you enjoyed a wonderful holiday with your family and friends.  Happy 2010 eve!  Just wanted to let you know that she is doing beautifully with us and is enjoying being a member of our family.  She is calm and relaxed, has learned the routine and has made her way into the hearts of all of us.  Our children and are very pleased with their early Christmas present.  We have switched her over to Blue Buffalo dog food with good results.  She did have conjuctivitis which has been a little resistant to the drops the vet prescribed. Have to admit that she is not happy about having the drops put in. We are going to have her checked again this week to see if a renewal on the drops will do the trick.  Other than this, the vet declared her in perfect health.  We were amazed at how well behaved she was at the vet and groomer.  She did not put up a fuss which suggests that she is familiar with the routine. 

She especially enjoys our huge fenced in backyard - runs like the wind and loves playing with balls.  We cannot believe how fast and agile she is for a dog of 7 - obviously well taken care of by her former owners.   Thumper would also be a good name for her as that tail is constantly wagging.  She is making friends with all the canines in the neighborhood and our neighbors are so happy to see us with another dog.  People are coming outside when we walk her to meet and greet her and welcome her to our home.

"Just wanted to let you know, we are enjoying our newest family member more and more every day.  He has a new game, he runs up and down the stairs with our son in the morning when they get up.    He is so much fun.  Here is another picture.  He has lots of toys we got for him and he is lovin every minute of it.   Tell the foster mom, not to worry, we adore him and so do all the neighbors and family.  He is the talk of the block.
